The Buffalo Creek Review publishes poetry four times a year. Preference is given to works that possess a strong narrative voice, original themes, exceptional use of language, and freedom in form (i.e. free verse poetry as opposed to rhyming). We publish well written poetry regardless of theme or subject.

Simultaneous submissions are accepted, however, it is important that you notify us if your work is accepted elsewhere. Also, we are unable to offer writers monetary compensation for their work at this time. Please include your name and a brief third-person bio with your submission.

Please submit no more than once per reading period:

Spring Issue: December 25April 30
Summer Issue: May 1June 15
Fall Issue: June 15August 31
Winter Issue: September 15December 24
